Raingardens are landscape features planted with
water-tolerant, perennial, native plants. These beautiful gardens are
planted in depressions or low areas which are designed to capture and
filter pollutants storm water runoff. Workshops on the design and
construction of these gardens are currently being held throughout Summit
County. Please check the links below for workshop dates and the design
booklet. |

Upcoming Workshops/Programs
- Thursday, June 7, 2007, from 4:00 p.m.-
6:00 p.m. in the City of Green at the Old School House in Boettler Park.
- Saturday, June 9, 2007, from 10:00 a.m.-
12:00 noon - Mathews-Thomas Park 6737 Olde Eight Road in the
Village of Boston Heights. Please note that the park is on the east
side of Olde Eight, north of St. Route 303 and south of Boston Mills
Road.
- Tinkers Creek Watershed Festival, September
8th, 2007. Raingarden installation will take place at the
Water Treatment Plant on Ravenna Road adjacent to Dodge Middle
School. Festivities will start at 10:00 a.m.
