In April of 2003, The Ohio Environmental
Protection Agency issued a
General
Construction Permit for the State of Ohio that requires all
sites that are greater than one acre in size or that are part of a
larger common development to address the quality of the Storm Water

There is a variety of practices available to
provide treatment for storm water depending upon the land use, watershed
size, land area and aesthetics. Design Manuals that provide a matrix
based upon these factors are useful in selecting a practice that will
function as intended over time. For more information refer to the
